My Approach
My teaching is built on the belief that every voice is unique — and every singer deserves a technique that helps them sound natural, strong, and expressive.
I combine the discipline of operatic training with the freedom and flexibility of modern vocal technique to help students develop their full potential, whether they sing pop, musical theatre, or classical music.
At the heart of my method is vocal exercising — targeted, evidence-based exercises designed to build coordination, resonance, and control.
My approach draws inspiration from the Manuel García school of bel canto, modern voice science, and performance psychology. This integration allows singers to build:
- Technical strength and flexibility
- Healthy breathing and posture
- Clear articulation and diction
- Emotional depth and stage confidence
I see vocal training not just as “singing lessons,” but as voice development. Each lesson is structured around understanding how your voice works, strengthening your instrument, and connecting emotion with sound.
My Teaching Philosophy
A great voice is not built overnight — it grows through mindful practice, patience, and joy.
I aim to create an environment where discipline and creativity go hand in hand. Students learn how to:
- Warm up efficiently and safely
- Use the body as part of vocal technique
- Balance resonance, breath, and tone
- Express music authentically, not mechanically
Because I also hold a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, I deeply understand the pressures of performance and exams. I help my students develop mental resilience, focus, and confidence — so that when they step on stage or into the studio, they can perform at their best.
