LONG VUONG
Vocal Coach · Voice Artist · Music Educator
I’m Long Vuong — a classically trained vocalist, music educator, and voice artist based in Sydney.
With over two decades of experience in both performance and teaching across Vietnam and Australia, I’ve dedicated my career to understanding how the voice works — artistically, technically, and psychologically.
After years of performing as a French Horn player and singer with orchestras such as the Hanoi Philharmonic, Vietnam Opera and Ballet Orchestra, and Sydney Philharmonia Choir, I shifted my focus in 2015 to become a full-time music educator and voice coach. That same year, I founded my private school in Fairfield, which now supports a community of over 120 active students learning voice, piano, and French horn.
My teaching philosophy grows from an operatic foundation — drawing on the Manuel García tradition — while integrating modern voice science, performance psychology, and practical vocal exercise design. This approach helps singers build strength, flexibility, and emotional connection in their sound.
Having completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at UNSW (2025), I also bring insights into stress management and performance anxiety, helping musicians develop mental resilience for exams, competitions, and stage performance.
Alongside teaching, I continue to work as a voice-over artist, combining musical precision with storytelling for commercial, corporate, and character projects. My recording setup features a Neumann TLM 103 microphone and UAD analog chain, allowing me to deliver broadcast-quality voice work with depth and clarity.
At its heart, Pure Vocal Studio is about helping every voice — whether spoken or sung — find strength, freedom, and authentic expression.
